Connectivity
The architecture of the TWT Server Farm is based on the interconnection of Virtual LANs. The network is a wholly protected structure that guarantees the functioning in case of fault of any of the software and hardware elements. To avoid slowdowns in the local connections, all servers are connected among each other with Ethernet at 1 Gbs.
Physical security
The client’s server resides in a secure area where only authorized personnel can access; the contents of the server are protected by sophisticated firewall and security systems that identify and prevent any intrusion attempt.
In order to guarantee mutual security of the machines belonging to different clients, in the TWT Server farm there is not a single protected network but a series of virtual networks, protected by a firewall.
TWT guarantees, through its qualified personnel, the constant monitoring of the machines. The client can access his/her machine for extraordinary maintenance activity.
Logical security
The logical security of the Server Farm is guaranteed through the use of a centralized firewall, which acts as an antivirus and blocks worms, offering also the possibility of configuring the contents' policy.
